Nlite- Certain tweaks not taking effect

I just created a nlite unattended install image with some tweaks I chose during the customization step. There are a few tweaks I noticed that didn't take in effect after installing from the nlite-create image:

1. Use small icons in the Start Menu

2. Use Personalized Menu in Start Menu

3. Windows update- set to notify before downloading

These above tweaks didn't take in effect after I installed using the nlite ISO I created. I checked the Start Menu properties and the Small icon in Start Menu was unchecked, the Use Personalized Menu was checked, and Windows update was set to automatically download and install daily at 3AM. All these parameters seemed to remain at default even though I specified in the nlite tweak section otherwise. What could be causing these tweaks to no work?
