James_A Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 As far as I know you can only put a NetGear DG834 into debug mode by using the web interface. It's not like a LinkSys, where you can do this by shorting two pins on the chip while booting up.If the web interface on a NetGear is down, as happens if it is bricked, then the only other way in (that I know of) is by building a serial cable/adapter and attaching that to the motherboard.
