arfett
I was messing around with outlook 2003 and it's set to be used for an exchange server which I do not have so the first thing that happens after opening outlook is it asks me for the server/username information and if it's incorrect or not provided it just closes outlook and I can't figure out how to get into any options to change this. Can anyone help?
spacesurfer
Try Control Panel --> Mail settings or something similar. I believe Outlook adds configuration item in control panel.

arfett
There's absolutely nothing relating to mail in the control panel.
IcemanND
I have never seen a configured outlook client that did not put a mail control panel in, but try this first.start -> run type: control mlcfg32.cplclick OKfollow previous instructions if control panel opens.Otherwise, launch regedit.go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\OutlookMake a backup of this key and it subkeys and contents.now delete the key.try relaunching outlook.
