spike47 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 HiI have IE6 on XPsp2 , when I am browsing the web page seems to hang for awile before finishing that particular page , I have checked the Performance of the Pc and it shows the Memeory and CPU at 100% , but there is no movement of the the modem lights , the page just seems to hang , then it gets released sort of thing .anyone have any clues as to what to check out .cheers (ps: this is more so for ebay ! )spike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cluberti Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Consider creating a hang dump of the iexplore.exe process when it's hung like that, after you navigate to the page but before it displays (and preferably when the CPU and/or memory is showing the consumption patterns you describe).
