smap Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I'm gathering I can use nLite to create an XP install CD that installs and configures all my applications. Sounds cool, but how difficult is it to maintain it? I add applications frequently so I'd constantly need to be updating my nLite install. I'm sure others are in the same boat. amigafan Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I use RVMIntegrator to update the source, nLite to shrink and customise, and the $OEM$ folders for applications. This means that updating apps doesn't affect the XP source, and vice versa. See the MSFN Unattended guide for more info.As long as you use a sensible folder structure, maintenance is fairly easy.
