Quite honestly I don't know what you could remove that would inhibit photoshop's installation and useage. Have you run into issues as of yet? What does your current last_session.ini file have on it? Or are you using vLite currently? I removed virtually everything that was ok to remove according to this guide, including all of the "iffy" stuff and my own copies of Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 work flawlessly, and load quicker to boot!
