luke.mccormick Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Hi, I work in a 2 site (2 subnet) LAN/WAN/LAN client/server network running enterprise scale directory service and network services. We have a large number of network laser printers, but also a couple handfuls of special staff who have local USB Printers, there are a total of about 4 models. It is a pain during our yearly reimaging to spend a few days sitting in front of local machines installing the printers that take 25 minutes per install. Is there any way that anyone knows of that we can push out the printer drivers and the entire printing software package easily? I'm not sure how HP does the deployment but there are several components. It feels very ridiculous to be doing it the way we do it and if we could automate it at all it would be very helpful.Comments or questions?
