-Mr_Rose- Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) OK, install problem; I got the beta, burned the iso, set my machine to boot from my optical drive, stuck the DVD in the drive, booted from there, got the shiny "windows is starting" screen, then the blue/green gradient screen with pointer and the windows version number in the bottom-right corner, then...nothing.Mouse moves, but that's about it. No setup screen, no buttons. zip. zero. zilch. What gives?!NB this is not a clean HDD - it is also my Ubuntu disc, using GRUB ad the bootloader, in case that helps any.
