Knipschildt
Hey there, my new notebook arrived today and I wanted to christen it by wiping Vista from the HDD and installing a nice clean nLitened XP SP3. So I made a nLite OS CD and booted the notebook with it. It started alright with the initial driver loading, but then, after turning to a black screen for some seconds, I got a BSOD with the Stop 7b error.I made a second nLite OS CD, suspecting that my first one was somehow defective, but the second one gave me the same error message. Could anyone help me on this by chance? Does it have something to do with the BIOS or missing drivers? Thanks,Boris
Knipschildt
So I guess I managed to find a solution to my problem. Apparently, one must set the SATA mode in the BIOS from AHCI-something to IDE. Works fine now.

Kingskawn
or else you could integrate the AHCI drivers into your nLite install. Look over here -> http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=107504
