BigDaddy
Hello! On my server which is running Win2003 with 512MB ram I would like to set so that Firefox would not get swapped like you can do it with the kernel files(disable paging executive). So that after 4days when I will re-connect to the server via RDP and maximize Firefox I will not have to wait for the data to be read from the page file. And the task manager says that about 300MB of ram is still free Edited December 27, 2008 by BigDaddy
cluberti
Not possible unless you have control over the code - there are ways to make sure memory you allocate are not swapped out, but if you didn't write the app there's no way for you, as a user, to control the memory manager of Windows without completely disabling the swap file.
