PlayWithFire
I have a pair of Logitech USB headphones. The thing i hate, is that when i plug them in, i have to change the sound settings manually to have the audio play though the headphones. Most times i even have to restart the application to get the sound to play though the headphones. And when i unplug them, i have to go though the same thing. Is there a way to do this automatically? There's gotta be some piece of software out there that could listen to a "Headphones Plugged In" and "Headphones Unplugged" events and take the proper action.I mean, it works well with plain analog headphones (i know it's different) so why not USB? PlayWithFire
Nope, it didn't come with any software.
WwTIPPYwW
my soundcard drivers automatically do this. I have to disable this, as I always have the headphones plugged in and only occassionally turn on the speakers.Update your soundcard drivers and then hunt around it's settings. PlayWithFire
After a few evenings of messing with it, i didn't find anything. And, i don't really want to install any the bloated software from SoundBlaster just for that one feature. Thanks for your help though!
