Microsoft Office 2000 and 2007 both installed on same computer

I need to have Office 2000 and 2007 both installed on same computer because I maintain two Access Databases. One is in Access 2000 the other Access 2007.

I have two questions:

1. Can this be done safely in a straightforward manner in two different folders?

2. Can I do this legally if I use Office 2007 upgrade?

euwh as far as i know you can maintain a access 2000 db perfectly in 2007... correct me i am wrong but i am maintaining one at my work in both 2000 and 2007 and it works like a sharm.

I have found one incompatibility in using vb code to populate a text box. But this is pretty darn esoteric. I was told at work where there is a major upgrade planned to migrate from 2000 to 2007 that 2007 is only 100% compatible with 2003.

But the application in question is pretty simple, so I am probably pretty safe.
