Another few to add (plus some that are already known to work):

Hamachi

WinRAR

7zip

Unlocker

ScrubXP

Office 2007

And that's all I've bothered to install and use so far... Oh, and it recognized my HP Deskjet F4135. :)

All of this works under the latest build of Parallels 4 under Windows 7 Experimental mode. :D

Last update: 3rd November 2009 (RTM Update)

Version: Windows 7 Professional 32 bit

LEGEND

- Green: Fully working

- Green Italic: Fully working, with some advices.

- Yellow: Working with some bugs

- Red: Not working at all

- Blue: Needs more testing

- * : Fixed in RC (the app didn't work properly in Beta)

- + after version n°: Fully working starting from that version (this means that this is the first 100% working version)

- x in place of a n°: Any version with this version numbering structure works (e.g. 2.xx means 2.00, 2.12, etc. all work fine)

LIST:

APPS

- Avira AntiVir Personal 9

- Free Download Manager 3.0

- Mozilla Firefox 3.0+

- Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6.2

- SpywareBlaster 4.2

- Windows Live Messenger 2009 (build 14.0.8089.726)

- Windows Live Mail 2009 (build 14.0.8089.726)

- Messenger Plus! Live 4.80+

- Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX & Firefox Plugin

- Microsoft Silverlight (all versions)

- Foxit Reader 3.0+

- uTorrent 1.8.x

- CCleaner 2.xx

- Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 SP2

- Google Earth 5 Beta

- Skype 4.0+

- nLite 1.4.9.1 Final

- Sun xVM Virtualbox 2.x - 3.x

- eMule 0.49c + Xtreme mod 7.2

- Allway Sync 9.x

- Media Monkey 3.x.x

- Nokia PC Suite 7.1+

- Comodo Internet Security Suite 3.10+ 64 bit*

- SPTD (SCSI Pass-Through Driver) 1.59+

- DAEMON Tools 4.3.5.5+ Lite

- VideoLAN VLC Media Player 1.0.0+

- Creative Centrale 1.03.01 (Creative ZEN X-Fi manager)

- Exact Audio Copy 0.99 prebeta 5

- ImgBurn 2.5.0.0

- ATI Tray Tools 1.6.9.x

NOTE TO 64 BIT USERS: Low Level Driver doesn't start. Because of this, ATT shows an error and doesn't start. The best solution is to download the ATTLoader and set it up as told in the topic.

- 7-zip 4.65 (64 bit) - To make File Association options working, just run the program once as administrator (this is for Vista too).

- HP ScanJet 4370 Scanner Software - Run the installer in Vista compatibility mode to skip the OS version check, and everything works fine.

GAMES

- WarRock (free online FPS game)

- LEGO Star Wars II

- LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga

- LEGO Indiana Jones

- Need For Speed SHIFT Demo

- Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box

- Batman Arkham Asylum

TESTED ON BETA BUT NOT YET TESTED ON RTM:

- Paragon Partition Manager 8.5

- IZarc 3.81 - Options in contextual menu (e.g. extract to, extract here) don't work.

- vLite 1.2 Final - . NET Runtime Unhandled Exception when trying to open a folder containing the extracted files: probably, something related to 64-bit WIM filter driver and/or wimgapi.dll. Running it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode solves the problem and almost everything works, but hotfixes don't integrate.

Odd that Tuneup Utilities 2009 will work for some, but not others.

Agnitum told me on 1/12, that they have no plans on bothering with Win7, until it's ready for Gold. Now you know.

Acronis Home 11 works fine (and more importantly, restores fine). You need to include that 200mb partition along with C:/, otherwise you'll have a non-bootable rig when it's restored.

Alpha Button 2.2 works fine.

One Touch Shutdown works as expected

EditPlus3 no problems either.

Nero 8 installs easily enough, but no luck with SPTD dependent programs like Alcohol 120% (or 52%)

No luck with Starburn 11--keeps asking to install SPTD drivers...even the SPTD 1.56 standalone .exe won't install correctly.

O&O 10 Pro Defrag works like a champ

So does ESET's Security Suite

Faststone Capture 6.3 is good to go

Alchemy Mindworks GIF Creator loads right up

HTML Protector 2.1 is an easy install

PTFB (Push the Freakin' Button) 3520 seems OK

R-Tools went right in, no sweat

And a few smaller PG's like Drawing 4 Children, PIXResizer, and SunJava 6.11 went ok too

There are others, but they're already listed in this thread.

As with Vista, the vendors will eventually make our favorite programs compatible with Win7.

But unlike Vista, I actually like Win7, so I hope more vendor support will be forthcoming sooner than later.

I have not had chance to install as much as I wanted to, but here is what I have:

Nokia PC Suite - Works fine with my N95 8GB but had to set the installer to Vista compatibility mode.

Imgburn - No problems.

CloneDVD - No Problems.

LogMeIn Remote Desktop - Installer would not work correctly, dug around on the LogMeIn forums and found a workaround that install the program from a CMD line, works fine after that.

K-Lite Codec Pack - Tried to play an MKV, sound but no video, not sure what the problem with that is, works fine on Vista & XP.

Kaspersky Internet Security 8 - It's a Beta version, worked fine.

ESET smart Security 4.0 Beta - Works fine.

Office 2007 Enterprise - Works fine.

Pure Networks Network Magic - Couldn't get this to work at all, installed but program would not load up.

Unlocker - Works fine.

uTorrent - Works fine.

Windows Live Mail & Messenger - Works fine.

WinRAR - Works fine.

Winamp - Seems to work ok but have not fully tested.
