gospeed
"Nero 7 messes with the IE scripting engine and WPI will not work if Nero 7 has been installed or is currently installed. HOWEVER, This link to Nero Cleantool --> HERE has been reported to fix this issue. So if you wish to use WPI and have had Nero7 installed you will want to "clean" your system first."taken from:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=126652 Edited December 8, 2008 by gospeed

mritter
Has anyone installed Nero 7 with the new reg key tweaks? It is a similar problem as Office caused. Just curious.............
eethball
I've installed Nero 7 and it did in fact break WPI. I used Nero 7 Micro though, and when I try to use the Nero CleanTool it asks for the Nero install path. I select my C:\Program Files\Nero (I've also tried C:\Program Files\Nero\Core folder) but it says the selected path is invalid. So just for kicks I checked off the Clean All checkbox and then the Clean button was available to me so i clicked it. After it said it was done I rebooted Nero was successfully uninstalled but WPI was still broken... Does anyone have anything I might be able to try to repair it manually? Thanks for everything guys.
