jaykay Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 you can install internet explorer 7 and windows media player. both you should find with google, searching for the name and download.you cant "restore" other components.
ali_ale Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 searched everywhere but cant seem to find the link for WMP11 for vista. Can anybody plz post the link for it
oskingen Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 you won't find media player for vista. it's only for xp. You can try if you want but i'm not sure it will work.
ali_ale Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 tried the xp version but it wont install
weEvil Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 tried the xp version but it wont installThat's why its the XP version.WMP11 for Vista is built differently.
redxii Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Since Vista includes IE7 and WMP11 you won't find installers for them. If you want something back you have to redo your DVD with vLite and reinstall Vista. IE7 too is built differently for Vista.
