drscouse
Hadnt bothered with Vista for about a year or so and though I would give it another go...I was gutted after doing a clean install.. Vista SP1, got ntfs corruption errors, ran chkdsk, and it cleaned up, but got more errors agian after rebooting... Ive never had a problem with XP... so it cant be the hardware...Ive searched the forum, and suprisingly cant find any other threads... Ive tried both the nforce and silicon image controllers on my dfi expert, but still the same... really annoying...!!Any ideas...???
redxii
How did you format the partition? I format using Vista setup with no problems; once I had used XP to prepare a partition for Vista and had problems like yours. drscouse
I have a multiboot/multi partition system, where c drive is the only primary active partition, on which I have xp... I installed vista to a logical drive, but I know it puts its boot files on the primary active... Im sure I read this was ok... I know its quite picky about where it can install, but it let me chose this way, and installed fine...
