1031982
Simple question, can I add files to the XP image in the root folder? They will be in a folder and hold drivers and updates I want installed installed right when I get into Windows. No auto copying, just having them be on the disk. TranceEnergy
yes, just copy them inside the folder where you copy the files from the windows installation cd.

TranceEnergy
Lol, np. Take a look at unattended.msfn website and read about using $OEM$ folders , which will enable you to copy wallpapers, cursors, system files, basically anything, into the windows installed partition.Very simple, yet very cool. Sizzla
Hello,Thank you Fernando for sharing this info.Just put together a new system with a "XFX nForce 630I GEFORCE 7100 SOCKET775" motherboard.I don't know if using RAID for speed will show significant speed increase. The system have 1 500GB sata drive, 2 1TB sata drives, and 1 10GB IDE drive. The board has one IDE channel and 4 SATA ports.I want to use nLite to create the XP-Pro install CD with SP3, post sp3 hotfixes,OpenOffice and other essentials like directX, FlashPlayer, Spybot, Anti-Virus, etc.I've read these threads and not sure if I missed it, but I'm looking to get pass the F6 issuewith no floppy and I'm not looking to use RAID unless someone tells me the improved speed is worthy.I burn for backups so I'm not looking for redundancy. The info here seems to be geared for RAID, or should I follow the same instructions If I don't plan on using RAID.Just want to get pass the F6/no floppy issue.ThanksSizzla
TranceEnergy
You posted in wrong post i think. Nlite itself will tell you how to deal with the F6/no floppy (inserting textdriver manually) thing.
