gdjstar
I am new here, I have tried to search this topic but I have not seen if it has been posted. The question is: Is possible to bypass ACPI detection during installation of Windows Vista?I think ACPI should not be the most important problem to run a operating system. For instance, I have a old computer with 384 Mb RAM that Vista could work but it does not have ACPI.Any solution? Is it possible with Vlite to bypass ACPI detection during installation?Thank you!! MagicAndre1981
this is not possible. You must have ACPI to install and run Vista!
TranceEnergy
With only 384mb ram, even the slimmest of vista systems, wouldnt be of much use. It surely would work, but at a price. You're better of setting the computer up with any linux distro, except like Sabayon distro kind.
