saleemrocks@gmail.com Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 hi,i have Configure RIS server on windows server 2003,i have mounted xp image in iso format,wen i try to boot the client pc ,everything works fine my ris server is detected and finally i get the error os "The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers for your network adapter. Try selecting a different operating system image. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit."i tried the whole of net couldnt find a answer.i even added drivers in the $oem$ folder still i got the same error,i also tried the hotfix provided by microsoft still it dint workthe client network card is intel pro/100vecan anyone help me
scrunchiepudding Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Put the Drivers in the i386 folder. Make sure you have .inf, .sys, and .cat files included.Hope this works for you.Don't forget to restart the BINL service on the RIS server. Edited January 23, 2009 by scrunchiepudding
