teocs01
Hi all anyone using nlite to integrate driver which is in cab format yet?
coop75
You dont give so much info on what sort of .cab file it is and for what it is..But I guess that you have to unpack or extract files from the .cab file.. depending on what type of .cab file it is you can use different methods..Try WinRar 3.8, Universal Extractor 1.6 or cabextract (then you need Cygwin 1.5.25-15)Have not tryed the last one.. but hey it's free! Once you been able to extract the drivers you need, just integrate the drivers in nLitenLite Guide - General usage (English) - Part2Good luck
teocs01
Hi.I actually download all the drivers that is available on Microsoft Windows update website. the problem here is O have download around 100++ drivers ranging from video to sound to hard disk controllerSo when i am trying to integrate the driver using nlite, i realised that those driver files are in cab format. so meaning i have 100+ cab files to unzip. therefore I am looking at software tht can help me to unzip the 100+ cab files at one go. ccl0
i wouldnt use m$ windows update for drivers. some of the ones on there are outdated. if possible, try to get the drivers from the manufacturers
