HALK
When I reboot Windows 2003 Server with SP 2 I have several services that do not start including MSDTC. When I shut down the server completely and restart, these services start the way they are suppose too. Any ideas why these services don't start on a reboot? Thank youYour Pal Hal
Tripredacus
The only main difference between a restart and shutdown is that a shutdown totally removes power from memory, erasing it 100%. On a restart, the system is supposed to empty out memory. You might have some lingering memory issues but this is the only thing that comes to my mind.
