O_T Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 Hello!When booting from CD-ROM you should see "Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver..."At this screen press F10Let the loading of the usual drivers continue ( hopefully you have the sufficient drivers to access the harddisk ).The next Windows Setup screen will then present you the option to press R = Recovery Console.I have tested this on XP to clean up using Recovery Console command 'fixmbr' and 'fixboot' after a ratherunsuccessful test-run of a dual-boot setup.This "backdoor" to Recovery Console is open even when the file 'I386\winnt.sif' [data] section have UnattendedInstall=Yes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
