WARNING! I'm not responsible for your system not working if you try this! WARNING!

If you modify these two registry settings...

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows\CSDVersion from 0x00000300 to 0x00000200

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\CSDVersion from "Service Pack 3" to "Service Pack 2"

Reboot the computer----

Install MultiPoint SDK----

Set the two registry keys back to their original values-----

Reboot the computer once more----

well it worked to install the software that required sp2 lol and thanks!

but i should have read the fineprint, it allows 2 cursors for 2 mice WITHIN applications instead of just in general on your desktop lol

im starting to run out of ideas :wacko::wacko:

mice! lol

what would be the point of this? sounds neat tho

I already found one program that a customer of ours uses that I feel is completely useless without being able to use two cursors. This happens to be one of those DJ software programs where it looks like real sound equipment. I've worked as a Sound Engineer as a hobby, and I couldn't fathom the idea of only being able to use one hand to work with that stuff!

This works in 98 only:

http://www.cs.umd.edu/hcil/mid/

MacOSx has something:

http://www.dualosx.com/dualosx_en.htm

and Linux has MPX:

http://wearables.unisa.edu.au/mpx/

so NT based systems appear the only ones where it doesn't work? :w00t:

Would the things referenced here:

(courtesy of the Wayback Machine):

be of use?
