303 Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I am having a sound issue and reinstalling the drivers didn't fix itSo, I tried the sfc /scannow thing and I would like to know exactly *what* files it is trying to restore, like in the good ol' 98SE days, ie. Since I installed XPSP3, is it trying to restore the SP1 files from the disc or what?Isn't there a way to make it restore files from the SP3 backup files to fix the corrupted ones?
