dssamusaran
Hello,I did a nlited XP pro cd, I removed carefully the things useless for me.I did two versions, one SP2, and one integrating SP3, with the same configuration for the rest (I did the SP3 version by integrating it to my previously nlited SP2 version). Now, I'm trying my iso with Virtual PC. When I use the SP2 iso, no problem, everything installs corectly, but while installing the SP3 one I get plenty of windows errors while installing. The errors happens just after the virtual drive formating, while copying system files (on a blue screen installer). It says "can't copy file cnvfat.dll" or *****.***(my installer is in french so it's maybe not this exact error in an english one, here's the error I get in french:"Le programme d'installation ne peut pas copier le fichier : cnvfat.dll " )If I press ESC to skip the file I get the same error again and again during the installation.I hope somebody have an idea...Sorry for my poor english Thank you beforehand. HowdyDoody
The only time I have received that error is when my CD was bad. Try another one.
Ponch
I did the SP3 version by integrating it to my previously nlited SP2 versionThis is the cause of your propblem. You can only integrate SP3 to an original source.
dssamusaran
=> Ponch : Thanks, I'll use the SP2 version, I'm still currently testing it under virtual PCPS: From belgium too => HowdyDoody : It can't be the cd fault as I directly use an iso in virtual PC, but thanks either Edited October 6, 2008 by dssamusaran
