Norton, McAfee, Roxio I can agree with. The rest, you just need to learn how to deal with. ;)

What is the 'micro' version of Nero? I've got nero 6 and I hate all the extra crap that it installs.

Somebody else on the 98 forum mentioned using 'Nero 6 lite'. A google search wasn't much help.

Is there a way to make a light or micro install of Nero 6?

Thank you for the link to this, but I cannot get the installer to run. It keeps complaining it cannot find the files, even though I have them in the directories it requires.

Does it perhaps run only on XP? (my computers use Win 2K and 98.)

I've got to say, ever since i started using foxit reader for PDF's, I've been quite impressed. It's blazing fast compared to adobe reader. Also, they release it as an msi, which is good for corporate users wishing to deploy it widely. I highly recommend it.

Edit: And, it's free!
