SpeeDefrag is the exclusive freeware program, which optimizes Windows defrag. It restarts your computer, which refreshes the RAM and loads just the defrag.exe program. This imposes minimum load on the system and therefore defragmentation speed is increased. This small software will also shutdown or restart your computer automatically once defrag is over. It supports scheduling of defrag and now it also performs disk checking before defrag.

The present version SpeeDefrag 5.2.1 seems like bundledware product. (Installer file size is 3.1MB)

I have an older version 5.0.1 that is not bundledware. Truely freeware (Installer file size is 1.15MB).

USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices that currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used.

For each USB device, exteneded information is displayed: Device name/description, device type, serial number (for mass storage devices), the date/time that device was added, VendorID, ProductID, and more...

USBDeview also allows you to uninstall USB devices that you previously used, and disconnect USB devices that are currently connected to your computer.

USBDLM - USB Drive Letter Manager V4.2.4

USBDLM is a Windows service that gives control over Window's drive letter assingment for USB drives. Running as service makes it independent of the logged on user's previleges, so there is no need to give the users the previlege to change drive letters.

It automatically solves conficts between USB drives and network or subst drives of the currently logged on user.

Furthermore you can define new default letters for USB drives, reserve drive letters and much more.

USBDLM is Freeware for private and educational (schools, colleges, universities) use only.

Comes pre-configured with 3 drive letters (Z,Y,X). What this means is that when you plug your 1st removable drive, drive letter is assigned Z. If 2nd removable drive is plugged in, it is assigned drive letter Y.

Note: Starts as a Windows Service.

- Add an addtional file, SetMyxplorer2Setting.exe, to allow user to fully customise xplorer² Lite.

a)You can replace x2settings.reg with your own.

b)Change any toolbar skin (suppiled is Silk by ZoNi): see #2 , Screenshot 3

c)Set your own Search file program [Ctrl+F] via CustomizeMyx2settings.cmd and szExtFindFiles registry key

For example, I wish to link Agent Ransack to szExtFindFiles key, then my syntax in CustomizeMyx2settings.cmd would be

reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\xplorer2" /v szExtFindFiles /t REG_SZ /d "%ProgramFiles%\Mythicsoft\Agent Ransack\AgentRansack.exe" /f

. U can even set non-search tool such as Firefox browser etc
