random0xff
Is it possible to install .NET 3.5 using the full package from cmdlines (T-12)? I have it in there like this:start /wait dotnetfx35.exe /q /norestartand though I get no errors, it is not installed. In another topic on this forum I found this line:start /wait dotnetfx35.exe /q:a /c:"setup.exe /q /norestart" /norestartI tried that, but no luck either. Which one is the right one, and, is cmdlines.txt too soon for .NET?Thanks! Edited September 19, 2008 by random0xff
beats
.NET needs a few tricks to run from cmdlines. It will not install with either method you tried.RyanVM.net has several addons available that can be installed from cmdlines. hj_fr
I use: dotnetfx35.exe /passive /norestart /lang:FRA without error under Windows XP or Windows Vista (but not tested in cmdlines T-12).
thepeterp
In my installation I uncompessed dotnetfx35.exe with winrar and I ran dotnetfx35setup.exe, which is inside the compessed file, with /qn /norestart command lines, but I use runonceex. You can give it a try!Regards,Peter
chiners_68
dont strugle with it yourself. A nice guy called RogueSpear has done all the hard work for you. His installer contains .net 20 SP2, 3.0 SP2 & 3.5 SP1 all in the one packageyou will need to login to his forum to access the correct thread(hidden from normal users) & then you can access the page with his .net 3.5 Full installer. HEREPS, he has a couple of install switches for silent installs -ai or -ai1. when you run the exe it tells you the switches.
