I get that error code any time i try to access the Device Manager/Event Viewer/etc..

Its not a huge deal but im trying to get XBCD to recognize my original xbox controller and i need to uninstall the old driver for the controller. Anyway, thats not the point, the point is that i cant get to the device manager. I have IE7 installed but it seems to not recognize it or something.

Im running a vLite'd Vista x64.

It seems to have installed itself via an update, is that not the same as keeping it to being with?

It would have been nice if the vLite program told me i wouldnt be able to use any MMC features if i took out IE.
