Junyorvip
Hello, My Vista DVD contains the versions "Business, HomeBasic, HomePremium, Ultimate, HomeBasicN, BusinessN". How can I remove the entries "HomeBasicN" and "BusinessN" to reduce the Image file?

Kelsenellenelvian
OK the deal is this:All images contain mostly the same files.Home basic N containing the least files and ultimate containing the most.So concerning the "N" versions the files the contain are all already in the other versions too so you will save very little space if any by removing just those.Your best bet for the smallest image would be to start by selecting Home Basic and removing all other version as nLite is built for rebuilding and keeping one or all images not just 2 or 3. Don't ask me why maybe it's just not feasible to do it that way.The way these disks are created is not that each "version" is fully one the DVD. all of the files are written to the CD ONCE not multiple times. Its like the old warez All-in-one disks that used to float around and still do. The contain 9 or more versions of XP\2003 on 1 CD with a footprint of less that 700 megs BUT if you goto copy that to your hard drive it will contain 6 or more gigs of data.
