lost9999 Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Hi, I have never hosted my own website before. Im trying to do so in Win Serv 2003, in IIS. It seems like I can just create a site in the default website and go from there. Do I need to do anything in DNS to allow my users to type something like:http://helpdeskorhelpdeskIf they were to do it now, only the IP address of the server can display the webpage.
