Mijzelf Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 You have a bad configured DNS, in which case you can hardly access the internet, or somehow you've got a wrong timeserver configured. Goto ControlPanel->Date and Time->Tab Internet Time. The default server is time.windows.com, but you can use any NTP server you like. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Goto ControlPanel->Date and Time->Tab Internet Time. The default server is time.windows.com, but you can use any NTP server you like.THanks you for your reply.My configured default used time.windows.com server. But i still got this error. Goto ControlPanel->Network Connections, rightclick your connection, choose properties, select TCP/IP, press Properties. In most cases the DNS addresses are dynamically assigned by DHCP.You can check if the DNS works for you by entering 'ping time.windows.com' on a command prompt. If it mentions an ip address the DNS works OK. (Pinging will fail however, the MS timeserver doesn't reply to ping packets).Your problem can also be caused by a firewall.
