Beeker425
I'm trying to create a Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1 slipstream disc. Each time, I'm getting "CabLib Extract ERROR while extracting files from cabinet archive: Corrupt cabinet."My Vista Ultimate retail disc has been copied to the hard drive and I've downloaded the standalone Vista SP1 file (Windows6.0-KB936330-X64-wave0.exe) twice with no indication of error. Each time I attempt the slipstream I end up with the same error message listed above, which aborts the process.System info:vLite 1.2 RCClean install of Vista Ultimate 64-bit RTM release with no patches (no SP1)Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5GHz8GB RAM with 50GB+ free hard drive spaceSuggestions appreciated. Beeker425
Have you matched the md5 and verified your dl package? The file was downloaded directly from the Microsoft Download Center. I don't see any MD5 information listed nor information about how to verify the file.
