scubes13
I have been reading through the forums until my eyes are crossing. Forgive me if this answer is somewhere obvious - just point me to the right place.I have successfully created my own ISO using nLite. One of the things I would like to be able to do is to have the installation automatically create a partition of 100% of the primary drive listed and then format it using NTFS or NTFS Quick formatting. At this point, this is the only user input I am having to provide for my installs to blank drives. Also, if I am trying to install to a non-blank hard drive and use the "Press Any Key To Boot from CD" option, is there a way to delete the original partitions, create a new one at 100% of the available space and then proceed with the formatting. Thanks for any and all assistance, tips, etc.And thanks to everyone involved with nLite and this forum!Scubes
mazmorbid
This is part of my WINNT.SIF file that might help you out, it formats and partitions the drive to NTFS with no user input ...[Data]AutomaticUpdates="Yes"Autopartition=1MsDosInitiated=0UnattendedInstall="Yes"[unattended]UnattendMode=FullUnattendedUnattendSwitch="Yes"OemPreinstall="Yes"OemPnPDriversPath="DRIVERS\INF\000_CHIPSET;DRIVERS\INF\001_DISPLAY;DRIVERS\INF\002_NETWORK;DRIVERS\INF\003_WIRELESS;DRIVERS\INF\004_MODEM"OemSkipEula="Yes"FileSystem=*WaitForReboot="No"NoWaitAfterTextMode=1NoWaitAfterGUIMode=1FileSystem-ConvertNTFSRepartition=YesExtendOemPartition=0DriverSigningPolicy=IgnoreNonDriverSigningPolicy=IgnoreHibernation="No"EDIT: This uses the NTFS Quick formatting option .. scubes13
mazmorbid,Thanks so much for the assistance! Your code worked like a charm! You are a life saver. Even learned what WINNT.SIF was too, lol. Had never touched the file manually before. Would think that these would be settings in nLite. Thanks again!Scubes
