Audio driver does not install

I just started using nLite and I love the customization you can do for a Windows install. The only problem I have run into is that my audio driver does not install. I can add it with no problems after the install is complete. Is there a reason why this is happening? I am selecting 2 .inf files for this driver (1 in each of 2 different folders). Should I move it higher in my drivers list? I am installing on a Dell D630, using a Dell XP install cd for the source.

Any help is appreciated.

What brand?

I don't think it is possible with Creative drivers; Realtek (found on many motherboards) integrates fine (I can tell from personal experience).

This should work; did you use the folder with ADIHdAud.inf in it?

For Windows XP SP2 KB888111 should be integrated as well.

For Windows XP SP3 nothing special needs to be done.

Hey, I had the same problem with my install. I just created a CAB file with Add-On Maker from the audio driver setup exe. Worked out great.
