May it be the cause of the problem?Nope, it's nothing to do with where the installer was run from.Your problem is almost certainly as twig123 has said - you have some software installed which has installed some filter driver related to CD/DVD drives (burning software, Daemon Tools, ISO mounting software, etc.) and it doesn't work with SP3. I did the following:- Uninstalling Daemon Tools and Nero Ahead.- Installing SP3.- Reinstalling Daemon Tools and Nero Ahead.- Installing a modified pack.And it works fine. How simple!
