icnocop
Hi.It seems there is a problem when (manually) adding the following two lines to the [Components] section of AMD64\winnt.sif (after nlite processing):iis_smtp=Oniis_smtp_docs=OnWindows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2What ends up happening is the WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) service is missing. The answer for the nlite faq "How to reinstall WMI?" (http://nliteos.com/faq.html#Q26) doesn't seem to be unattended which is what I am after.Any ideas \ workarounds?Thank you.
nuhi
I have a note that it is Windows bug since x64 (maybe sp2).Tried it now just SIF, original installation not modified, and it fails the same.

In order to work-around this issue, I am going to try to use sysocmgr.exehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/222444/EN-US/It should work. I have a note that it is Windows bug since x64 (maybe sp2).Tried it now just SIF, original installation not modified, and it fails the same.
