Which Version nLite or vLite?

I never used nLite or vLite before. I don't really even know how to use these forums well so forgive me if I posted in the wrong place. My Desktop PC recently got messed up and I need to reinstall XP Pro. (Please note my versions are legal). I would like to Slipstream my drivers. However, the desktop is broken. I'm using Vista on a laptop to make the CD/DVD. So do I pick nLite or vLite? Are they made for the Os I'm running the program on, or made for the OS disk I'm creating. I'll be using Vista on a Acer Laptop to slipstream my drivers into XP Pro for a HP desktop.

Then I would choose nLite. vLite only works with Vista files, while nLite only works with 2000 / 2003 / XP files. While you are on it, slipstream SP3 into XP before burning the cd, and you don't have to update that much then, assuming you have a fast connection.
