Hardware not recognised

:realmad: Made a vlite instalation disc from upgrade cd (selected home premuim)on toshiba laptop all seemed to go ok, however I now get a message telling me that windows cannot install on the hardware in my laptop. This seems strange as I had vista home premuim on the laptop to start with. Do you need to wipe the disk before reinstalling?

If you remove some hardware component in vlite, it's normal that you got some hardware device not recognised and for some of them the drivers wont install. In case if i well understood what you mean
