Unable to partition when installing XP over Vista

Recommended Posts

When we get new machines in from Dell now they have a Vista build on them. We then repartition them and install XP before rolling them out to the users.

However, our unattended install CD despite having the following in winnt.sif does not prompt for new partition information;

[Data]

AutoPartition=1

MsDosInitiated="0"

UnattendedInstall="Yes"

It works absolutely fine when reinstalling an existing XP box, but not when trying to install XP over Win Server 2008 and Vista.

Has anyone got any ideas on how I could remedy this?

Thanks
