Selection of services

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am about to begin the selection process of services for windows XP. I will follow instructions of the Viper website but I would like to make it properly and there is so much to consider.

I intend to use the laptop for : no internet, word, video games, printing, a bit of photoshop.

Could you please tell me which services I should keep for those purposes (the 1st that come in your mind) and the services we must keep active whatever the use is ?

Thanks

Gilou

I think you have just found exactly what you are looking for

check this Post

its been made to work with different profiles for different running sets of services ...

tweak this further for any docking station among disabling devices or anything els that can be done using hard ware profiles ... pretty B)

I'm sure this kind of question has been answeared to death countless times, and there are, as mentioned black viper, many good sources on the topic.

I would just say to set print spooler set to automatic if you are going to use .net 3.5+ installer at pre-login stage.

A weird dependency there by dot.net
