No Linux option with that?

But I jest. Anyways, I'm probably going to either get Vista or go with Option F.

It depends when I get around to getting my next computer (mine's 6 years old running XP, but works just fine).

nah, IMO Linux is a great OS but a terrible thing to switch to out of frustration. Ive switched to redhat, Gentoo(stage1), and ubuntu and switching in frustration has always sent me bouncing back to windows again. Thats not saying that people shouldnt try Linux -im just saying they should try to replace windows with it.

on a side note, windows 7 is dated for 2010 not 2009 -the gates statement has been retracted

I'd say you can probably expect builds of Win7 sometime in 2010 (maybe late 2010), just like Vista (November 2006). Since Vista will be mainstream support until 2011, I'll consider Win7 in 2011 or 2012 unless I feel the need for a new high-end machine right around then ;).
