Th3_uN1Qu3
I liked the RP7 icons and want them in WinMe too, just that i can't get them to work. I tried editing the shell32.dll with Resource Hacker, put a few icons in, rebooted, nothing happened. After comparing sizes and seeing they are all okay, i copied over the shell32.dll from RP7 and rebooted. Again NOTHING. Opening my current shell32.dll in Resource Hacker shows that the RP7 icons are all there, however, they don't show up anywhere. Is there a "secret" location WinMe keeps an additional copy of its system files? System File Protection and System Restore are disabled.Edit: DOH!!! Just noticed that RP7 supports WinMe too... Another edit: RP7 didn't install properly, it said something about Rundll32.exe unable to find setupapi a few times. So no icons. I uninstalled it for now, and i think i'm going to hack the dlls manually. Now i see there are a lot of them, not just shell32.dll, but i'll do my best.
