smilodon
I heard, that with XP SP3 you can skip typing the serial. So i integrated SP3 into OEM XP SP2 Home. From Winnt.sif i removed the product key row.The result is... it sais that winnt.sif is minning "something".Then it displayed the screen where i had to type the serial key.Doh.. i had SP3, so i didnt enter anything and the install continued. Now how the hell to avoid this KEY ASKING stuff ???I googled a bit and all it showed was a method for Win 2000 and people complaining that it does NOT work for XP. But all the topics were old.. i mean pre SP3.So any ideas ?Would be bretty cool to not keep the precious keys on the cd itself. And a neat way, as you need no hacks to "enter" the key intended for a particular PC at the stage, were you set up the PC user's settings... those which cannot be slipstreamed.
