But problem occurs when I want to do it .My PC specs:Intel Pentium 4 ; 2.4 GhzRAM: 1Gb - 2x512MbMaybe someone of you could explain me how can I install win98 on my PC with 1Gb RAM!? dandnsmith Posted March 28, 2008 Share Posted March 28, 2008 Looking at the CPU speed, he could be up against the timing loop problem which gets reported as an NDIS failure. Chozo4 Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) It should install just fine w/ 1gb ram.What sort of 'error' is occuring? We are unable to help without knowing exactly what you're issue is. Best I can figure is removing a stick of ram if it isn't a single 1GB module, and then try installing. Once installed, run 'MSCONFIG' from start->run and limit ram to 512. Reboot and then install any packages / updates you need to and then uncheck the ram limit option in MSCONFIG since the unofficial service packs address this problem.
