Hi.

I need to get my XP Home under 680MB, The ISO is just 280MB when I start installing it say I need at least 1287MB!!!

Any advice? Any ini file I can use?

Thanks in advance

Do you mean final installed size?? Or total disk size?

KK after reading your post again I see now what you mean (I think).

You need to disable the setting of disk size limitation in the options page. Also do more removals.

Why you would need such a small size is WAY beyond me but hey each to his own. (The page file is going to kill ya everytime though)

Maybe get a copy of win2000? You'll get better smaller results with it.

Ah ok doing a live install setup. Yeah just check the minimum disk space section on the options page.

Made it 233MB before install. Hope it works

What did it do and how are you reading the card during install? (like is it the ONLY storage medium and does xp recognize it during install?)

Heck another simple question what is the setup you are doing this on?

YAY! I would suggest you grab ccleaner slim and set it to run @ every shutdown to keep the space down. (it only takes up less that 2 megs and will save you a lot of headaches)

Thanks for the tip:) so it only clean places that should be cleaned and not other things :) ?

Yes and it is very easy to tell it what to clean. Its really one of the best in its field (Plus its free!!!)

Homepage - http://www.ccleaner.com/

Other builds download page - http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds - Grab the slim build.

Install\configure and goto options\settings run ccleaner when computer starts. Oops my bad I thought it was run at shutdown but I guess they suggest at booting time.
