Telop
Installed the compressed folders feature on win98 SE. Something is strange. While double clicking the zip files opens it in right hand pan of explorer, the left-hand pan (folders view) doesnt show the zip file as folder, it still shows the parent folder where the zip file is residing. Furthermore, if the compressed folder (the zip file) has sub-folders, then double clicking it shows the contents in the right-hand pan, BUT in the left-hand pan , an icon (same as of UNKNOWN type in win98) is now shown, and this unknown icon doesnt show any response on double click, neither it shows right click options.I have done the followings so far:Searched the net , updated all the zipflder.dll, dzip32.dll, and dunzip32.dll.Tried to edit the registry, by analyzing/comparing WinME registry, the registry settings inside the zipfldr.dll, etc.But couldnt fix it. Also have updated OLE and other libraries.ANY help/suggestion? Edited March 22, 2008 by Telop
