Batman_24 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I am trying to setup an image for an Optiplex 755 using RIS. However, I keep receiving the error "File hpt3xx.sys has caused an unexpected error (21) at line 3540 in d:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c." Does anyone know what would be causing this issue and the best way to resolve?
cluberti Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 This happens with iastor.sys all the time as well, and has been explained here previously. Hopefully that helps you some.
