Ambassador
I was using TweakUI 1.33 on Windows 2000, and noticed it had the ability to turn off "Shell Enhancements", a feature I liked when I used to use Windows 98. I tried Tweak UI 2.10 in Windows XP, but unfortuately, it doesn't have this or some other features that were including in version 1.33. I know 1.33 was designed for 95/98/NT/Me/2000, but is it also compatible with Windows XP?
Ambassador
If I installed it, would it screw up my XP install?

TravisO
Sysinternal Autoruns and HijackThis should both allow you to pick and choose what shell extensions to disable/remove. Edited March 11, 2008 by TravisO
Ambassador
Oh, I didn't mean shell extensions. I was refering to the shell enhancement option you could turn off in TweakUI 1.33, which resulted in most of the web integration being turned off, including the Favourites menu.
