I don't know yet, why you get this problem.

In any case I would recommend to close first all other applications, before running USB_MultiBoot5.cmd

There are a lot of them running now which might interfere.

What is the path to your USB_MultiBoot5 Folder ? (use simple path without spaces is recommended)

How did you Format your USB-stick ? (what program and FileSystem was used)

I recommend also to copy your XPSOURCE from DVD to a Folder on Harddisk in a simple path without Spaces,

instead of using the DVD directly as a source from which USB_MultiBoot5.cmd has to copy and find the XPSOURCE files.

All recommendations can make the process a much easier task to fulfill.

Can you please give as Attachment your usb_prep.log renamed as usb_prep.txt file.

C:\USB_MultiBoot5

HP USB disk storage format tool v.2.0.6 which come together with USB_MultiBoot5.zip

Anyway i had try HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8 which to no avail

Interesting .... ;)

The Log Files reveal that there are problems with FileCopy for FAT32 and NTFS USB-Drive

Files are missing, probably also the Bootsector file, so that the process cannot continue.

Especially File BOOTFONT.BIN is Missing and might be the beginning of the problem.

thank for the update,i try go through tonight

Below is what i had try

Since FAT format is working, i try copy FAT content to hard disk 1st(about 881MB)

then format the Corsair Pendrive with NTFS format and copy the FAT content from hard disk to the pendrive

i hope it will work but it turn up that the pendrive wont boot

Another similar try was

i go through USB_MultiBoot5.cmd with NTFS format again(of coz it fail and the size about 8MB)

then again i copy the FAT content from hard disk to pendrive

however, the result same as above ,the pendrive just wont boot

I compared your data of USB_MultiBoot5 folder with mine, and they are exactly equal.

The Chinese Explorer view of your stick is interesting but I cannot conclude anything from it. ;)

Can you try USB_MultiBoot5.cmd on a different computer. Your stick is the same as mine.

The FileCopy from and to USB Problem will be related to the present state of your System.

What are the Specifications of the Computer you are using ?

r u sure u using corsair Flash Voyager

instead of corsair Flash Voyager GT?

it take me about 50m to complete xp installation(+BTS driver+apps)

i run a benchmark on corsair Flash Voyager by Atto and return a result 11MB/s

which disappointed me.

coz they claim corsair Flash Voyager 's read speed suppose is 19MB/s

I am using Normal 4 GB Corsair flash Voyager and NOT GT.

Install of XP from NTFS USB-stick is possible in 16 minutes.

My Install involves Quick NTFS Format and my XPSOURCE has

WinUpdate Pack + IE7 +WM11 Addon Integrated with RyanVM

and then only BTS MassStorage DriverPack Integrated (Preferred).

(with .NET Addon + AllDriverPacks it would take 10 minutes more).

Install of applications is done with WPI after XP Install has finished.

i had try with my pc

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+

ASUS - M2A-VM

Kingston 1Gb DDR2 667mhz

it reduce the time to 38m

(while my laptop is celeron 1.5)

and i wonder how much time it can be reduce if

(1).i use method 2 for BTS driverpacks

(2) use fastest pendrive like sandisk Cruzer Contour

which read speed up to 30MB/s almost 3 time faster than Corsair Flash Voyager

Does the 38 min also include Install of Apps ?

What BTS DriverPacks are included ?

I have the idea that my 16 minutes Install time is not limited anymore by USB read speed.

For making the USB-stick a higher write speed will certainly help.

For my normal Corsair Flash Voyager 4 GB I get with ATTO Bench for 64 kb - 8 MB range

7.7 Write and 12.8 MB / sec Read Speed, so quite comparable to your values.
